the Team
We are very grateful to Esri UK and their online
portal ArcGIS.com which has provided
the expedition with the facility to visualise and share an
understanding of the challenging environment we will face and map
the progress of the team when they are deployed to Antarctica. The teams will be able to provide updates in real time and you can find out what they are up to and where via the map. Simply click on the colour coded dots – red dot for red team etc. The Purple dots are joint team updates. There’s also some simple tools, such as:
- Basemaps – select different Basemaps, to gain further insights into environment
- Measure –get an idea of the distances involved from one point to another
